NFBS Held 2024 New Year’s Greeting Ceremony & Business Forum Event
미주뷰티서플라이총연합회(NFBS, 총회장 조원형) 주최 NFBS Forum 2024 행사가 지난 2월 11일 Teaneck Marion at Glenpointe (NJ)에서 개최 되었다. 1부 포럼에 이어 2부 신년하례식으로 진행되었다. 1부 포럼은 50여명의 방청자가 참여한 가운데, “뷰티산업의 상생과 동반성장 & 아름다운 Retire 전략”이라는 주제로, 6개의 소제를 가지고 6명의 스피커가 각각 발표와 함께 질문과 토론 형식으로 개최 되었다.
소제 & 연사는 다음과 같다.
(1) “영업필드의 최전선에서 바라본 뷰티서플라이 비즈니스의 현상황” -이영철/A belle –
(2) 홀세일과 import 입장에서 바라보는 후발 부자들의 동적 비즈니스로 인해서 뷰티 상권의 파괴를 어떻게 보고 있으며, 어떻게 대처할 수 있는가? – C&L USA 대표 이은황 –
(3) 동종 비즈니스의 후발 주자들로 인해 비즈니스의 피해를 본 경험담,
(4) 미국 소매업계 AI 시대 오픈, 뷰티서플라이 업계가 가야할 길은 무엇인가? – 이계송 뷰티타임즈 발행인 –
(5) 경쟁력 갖추기 위한 다양한 방법 – 김민수 NFBS 재무담당 부회장 –
(6) 부의 이전, 증여상속 – KLICHS 회계법인 정일권 CPA/GGMA- 등이다.
50 audience members, was held on the topic of “Coexistence and Co-prosperity in the Beauty Industry & Strategies for a Beautiful Retirement”, featuring presentations and discussions by six speakers on six subtopics. The subtopics & speakers were as follows:
(1) “The Current Situation of the Beauty Supply Business analyzed by Front Seller Eyes” – Young-Chul Lee, Vice President of A belle,
(2)How do you view the destruction of the beauty market due to the dynamic business of latecomers from the perspective of wholesale and import, and how can it be addressed? – Don Lee , CEO of C&L USA,
(3) How Beauty Supply Business is being ruined by latecomers? – Ki-Hyuk Koh, CEO Mia Beauty Supply
(4) The opening of the AI era in the US retail sector, what is the way forward for the beauty supply industry? – Kaysong Lee, Publisher of Beauty Times,
(5) Various ways to gain competitiveness – Min-Soo Kim, NFBS Treasurer Vice President, (6) Wealth transfer, gifting inheritance – Il-kwon Jung CPA/GGMA of KLICHS accounting firm, etc.
KISS Group provided video materials (methods for Instagram, Tik-Tok, Youtube New Account Creation, using Instagram ‘IVY’ operating account content for ‘Re-Gramming’, sharing methods using ‘IVY Beauty’ account content on Youtube), but due to time constraints, it was decided to post them on the NFBS website (www.nfbsusa.org).

KISS그룹사에서는 영상자료 (Instagram, TikTok, Youtube New Account Creation 방법, Instagram ‘IVY’ 운영계정 컨텐트를 활용한 ‘Re-Gram’ 하는 방법, Youtube에서 ‘IVY Beauty 계정 컨텐츠를 활용한’ 공유 방법)을 제공했는데, 시간상 생략, NFBS 웹사이트 (www.nfbsusa.org)에 게제키로 했다.

2부 순서는 8대 총회장을 역임한 이종대 전 NBSDA 총회장의 개회사로 시작되었다. 국민의례에 이어 조원형 총회장 환영사, 임수용 동포영사(주뉴욕대한민국총영사관) 신년사, 이창무 Beauty Plus 회장의 격려사, 그리고 이경철 (미주상공인협회총연합 총회장), 황선영 OKTA 뉴저지지부 회장, 표여식 BBKWA 회장, 나상규 펜주 뷰티서플라이협회 회장의 축사가 있었다.
NFBS 발전에 공헌한 분들에게 감사패가 주어졌다. 수상자는 A Belle USA Inc. 이영철 부사장, Beauty Plus 이창무 회장, Eve Hair Inc. 조영수 사장, C&L USA Inc. 이은황 사장, NFBS 박현미 수석 부회장, NFBS 장원만 수석 부회장, 펜주뷰티협회 나상규 회장, 미주한인상공인협회총연합회 이경철 총회장, 국제한인식품주류상총연합회 박광민 총회장, GG10 Inc. 윤보형 사장 등이다.
The second part of the event began with an opening speech by Jong-Dae Lee, the former president of NBSDA who served as the 8th president. This was followed by the national anthem, a welcome speech by CEO Won-hyung Cho, a New Year’s message by Consul Su-yong Im(Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in New York), a motivational speech by Chang-moo Lee, Chairman of Beauty Plus, and congratulatory messages from Kyung-chul Lee (President of the Korean-American Chamber of Commerce), Sun-young Hwang, President of OKTA New Jersey chapter, Yeo-sik Pyo, President of BBKWA, and Sang-gyu Na, President of the Pennsylvania Beauty Supply Association.
Plaques of appreciation were awarded to those who contributed to the development of NFBS. The awardees included Young-chul Lee, Vice President of A Belle USA Inc.; Chang-moo Lee, Chairman of
Beauty Plus; Young-soo Cho, President of Eve Hair Inc.; Eun-hwang Lee, President of C&L USA Inc.; Hyun-mi Park, Senior Vice President of NFBS; Won-man Jang, Senior Vice President of NFBS; Sang-gyu Na, President of the Pennsylvania Beauty Association; Kyung-chul Lee, President of the Korean-American Chamber of Commerce; Kwang-min Park, President of the International Korean Food & Liquor Association; and Bo-hyun Yoon, President of GG10 Inc.
장 재원 수석부회장은 2013년 활동내용을 영상을 통해 보고한데 이어, 2024년 신년 사업목표 및 사업추진 계획을 발표했다. 중점 사업으로 “웹사이트를 통한 정보 제공활동을 강화키로 했다”면서 “새로운 제품광고, 영상자료, 제품교육자료, 세미나 및 구인광고 등 다양한 정보를 계속 업데이트해갈 것”이라고 덧붙였다. 또한 오는 “7월 21일 뉴욕에서 개최하는 NFBS트레이스 행사의 성공을 위해 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
저녁식사와 함께 한승희 가수, 박진현 DJ 주도 여흥, 박미미 미주조지아뷰티서플라이협회 회장의 건배사 등으로 축하 파티가 이어졌다.
이번 행사는 NFBS 각 지역협회장 및 이사, 그리고 협회원들 00명이 참석했다. 참석자들 대부분이 이번 행사의 백미로 포럼을 꼽았다. 참석자들은 모두 “세미나 내용이 좋았고, 사업적으로 많은 도움이 되리라 생각한다.”고 말했다.
조 원형 총회장은 “의외로 많은 분들이 참여, 새로운 희망을 보았다”면서, “업계가 하나가 되어 어려움을 극복해 갈 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고말했다.
Senior Vice President Jae-won Jang reported on the activities of 2013 through a video presentation, followed by the announcement of the business goals and plans for 2024. He emphasized strengthening information dissemination activities through the website, adding, “We will continue to update with various information such as new product advertisements, video materials, product training materials, seminars, and job advertisements.” He also committed to doing his best for the success of the NFBS trade event to be held in New York on July 21st.
The celebration continued with a dinner, entertainment led by singer Seung-hee Han and DJ Jin-hyun Park, and a toast by Mimi Park, President of the United Georgia Beauty Supply Association in the USA.
The event was attended by presidents and directors of NFBS regional associations, and members, totaling more than 50 attendees. Most of the attendees considered the forum as the highlight of the event. They all mentioned, “The content of the seminar was good and would be of great help in business.”
President Won-hyung Cho stated, “Surprisingly, many people participated, and I saw new hope,” and added, “We will do our best to overcome difficulties as one industry.”
