이전에 필자가 시장에 유통되는 Edge, Braid, 그리고 Loc Gel들이 과포화상태라는 글을 쓴 적이 있습니다. 매주 새로운 제품이 출시되는 바람에 소매업자인 제 입장에서 어떤 제품이 잘 팔릴지 예측하기가 어려웠습니다. 여전히 이런 생각을 하면서도, 때로는 호기심이 저를 이끄는 경우가 있습니다. 새로운 것을 발견하면 그것을 직접험해보고 싶어지고, 직원, 고객, 미용사들에게 보여주고 그들의 의견을 듣고 싶어집니다. 이러한 호기심이 바로 R&B 컬렉션의 The Girls gel 라인을 접했을 때 느꼈습니다.
Previously, I had written about an oversaturation of edge, braid, and loc gels in the market. It seemed like a new gel was coming out every week and it was hard for me, as a retailer, to determine what would sell and what wouldn’t. Although I still stand by this sentiment, I still
let curiosity get the best of me sometimes. I see something new and I immediately want to see it for myself. I want to show it to my employees, my customers, and beauticians and get all of their opinions on it to see if it has potential. That level of curiosity is exactly what I felt with The Girls line of gels from R&B Collection.

In addition to its ingredients, the general consensus on the hold strength for the gels by The Girls seem to be very positive. Customers and beauticians who took the time to use these products and provide an honest feedback to me had great things to say about it. They were pleased with the hold strength of the gels and also the fact that the product did not turn white and left no residue behind. Even after applying oil to it. They were also pleased with how it left their hair feeling soft and moisturized instead of dry and flaky.
결론적으로, 제가 잘 알지 못했던 제품으로 기회를 잡게 되어 기쁩니다. 고객들의 반응이 너무 좋아서 이를 강조하고 싶었습니다. 제 견해를 말한다면, The Girls의 제품들은 아직 큰 주목을 받지못할 것처럼 보이지만,

In the end, I’m glad to have taken a chance on a product that I knew very little about. I was surprised at how well it was received by my customers, which is why I wanted to highlight it. As far as I can tell, products from The Girls seem to be going unnoticed. However, I think that the performance of their products will soon speak for itself and put them on the map.
