티셔츠 300장 무료 배포 300 T-shirts Distributed For Free
휴스턴 한인 뷰티 연합회(HKBA)는 지난 4월 18일 휴스턴 Hobart Taylor Park에서 개최된 “Spring Blast Easter” 자선행사에 참여, 지역사회에 공헌했다.
Spring Blast 자선행사는 매년 Good Friday에 휴스턴 지역 정치인들이 참여하는 대 자선행사인데, 금년에도 휴스턴 시장 John Whitmire, 하원의원 Harold Dutton, 지역 의회 의원 Tarsha Jackson 외 다수의 지역 경찰들이 참여하여 자선행사를 빛냈다. 이번 행사에서는 Texas Bar-B-Que, Hot Dogs, Turkey Legs, 등 다양한 음식을 무료로 나눠주었고, Egg Hunting, Face Painting, 풍선 아트, 오락기 등 다양한 즐길 거리가 제공되었다.
HKBA는 이번 자선행사에서 자체 제작한 300장의 티셔츠를 무료로 배포하였는데, 많은 참가자들이 협회 로고가 들어간 티셔츠를 입고 자선행사를 즐겼다. 그동안 HKBA 이제욱 부회장이 단독으로 14년동안 자선행사에 참여해 왔었지만, 앞으로는 협회를 통하여 조직적으로 다양한 지역의 자선행사 및 후원에 참여하여 지역사회에 공헌할 계획을 수립했다.

The Houston Korean Beauty Association (HKBA) participated in the “Spring Blast Easter” charity event held at Hobart Taylor Park in Houston on April 18 and contributed to the local community.
Spring Blast is a large-scale charity event held annually on Good Friday that attracts local Houston politicians, including Houston Mayor John Whitmire, Congressman Harold Dutton, local Councilwoman Tasha Jackson, and many local police officers. The event featured free Texas barbecue, hot dogs, turkey legs, and other food, as well as egg hunts, face painting, balloon art, and games.
HKBA distributed 300 self-made T-shirts for free at the charity event, and many participants enjoyed the charity event wearing T-shirts with the association’s logo. HKBA Vice Chairman Lee Ji-wook has been participating in charity events for 14 years on his own, but in the future, the association plans to contribute to the community by participating in charity events and sponsorships in various regions organized through the association.
