시카고를 중심으로 중서부 뷰티서플라이협의회를 갖자는 목적으로 지난 3월 9일 준비 모임이 있었다. 이날 모임은 이상룡 인디애나협회 회장의 주선으로 개최되었으며, 김종선 전 시카고 뷰티협회 회장을 준비위원장으로, 이상룡 회장을 간사로 추대했다. 참석자들은 시카고협회 임원들, 세인트루이스협회, 오하이오, 디트로이트 등의 뷰티서플라이 경영자들로 구성되었으며, 총 20여 명이 참석했다.

미주미용재료상업인협회(총회장 나상규) 주최 “제1회 총회장배 골프 왕중왕전” 골프대회가 오는 5월 20일(화) 오후 1시New York Country Club에서 샷건 방식으로 개최된다.
나상규 총회장은 “전 미주 뷰티 도매업체 및 뷰티인들을 모시고 협력업체와 함께 상생과 화합 차원에서 골프대회를 갖고자 한다”고 말하며 많은 참여를 당부했다. 경기는 챔피언조(핸디 7 이하)와 일반조로 나누어 진행되며, 시상은 각 조 챔피언에게 한국 왕복 항공권 및 트로피가 주어지며, 남녀 장타상 및 근접상이 있다. 또한 홀인원 시상으로는 약 5만 달러 상당의Mercedes Benz 차량이 제공된다.
참가자들에게는 호텔이 제공된다. NFBS 이사에게는 항공료 200달러와 호텔 2박 3일, 일반회원들에게는 호텔 2박 3일이 제공된다. 참가비는 100달러이며(그린피, 점심, 저녁 포함), 참가 문의 및 신청은 김길성 수석 부회장(201-575-1235)에게 하면 된다.
The “1st President’s Cup Golf King of Kings” golf tournament hosted by the National Federation of Beauty Suppliers (President Na Sang-gyu) will be held at New York Country Club on May 20 (Tuesday) at 1:00PM.
President Na Sang-gyu said, “We would like to have a golf tournament with all beauty wholesalers and retailers in the United States in terms of coexistency and harmony” and hoped for a lot of participation. The game is divided into the champion group (Hendy 7 and below) and the general group, and the award is given a Korean round-tou flight ticket and trophies to the champion of each group, and there are longest/closesist awards to man & woman each. Also, Mercedes Benz ($50,000 or more) is hanging as a hole-in-one award.
A hotel room is provided to the participants. NFBS directors are provided with an airfare of $200 + 2 nights and 3 days in a hotel, and 2 nights and 3 days in a hotel for general members. The 15th Trade Show hosted by the National Fedeartion of Beauty Suppliers (NFBS) will be held on July 20 at the Medowlands Exposition Center in Seracuse, New Jersey.
